My motivation for creating this website is the current state of my country, the Dominican Republic. In the DR, the biggest threat to a cleaner and safer environment is the energy sector, which is responsible for our industrial processes, emissions, and waste. Although our investments in tourism and industrial developments have created a better economy, now that we continue to develop we see these problems and we're immersing ourselves into cleaner tactics that aren't harmful to communities in the forefront of these decisions. 

Because the United States is a powerful, well-equipped, and progressive nation, I believe that the neglect of these communities is intentional, and the lack of action being taken is only making the problem worse than it was before. 

It begins with education, and shifting power for the people through voting.
